“Kia Mauri Tau!” Narratives of Recovery from Disabling Mental Health Problems

The Mental Health Narratives Project interviewed 40 people about their mental health, recovery and life after recovery, including Māori, non-Māori women, and men who once had a disabling mental health problem. This report details their journey to mental health, identifies key themes in accounts of the recovery process, and describes the impact of the experience of mental ill health on life after recovery.
