This study is part of The New Zealand Gambling Survey project. The 1998 follow-up study was primarily concerned with furthering knowledge about the nature of gambling in the general adult population, particularly with respect to the definition and measurement of gambling and problem gambling, to the stability and change over time in these behaviours and the identification of factors that are associated with this stability and change.
