The New Zealand Health Survey (NZHS) is an important data collection tool for monitoring the health of the population. The information collected is an important source of supporting evidence for health and health service policy and strategy development. From May 2011, the New Zealand Health Survey will be made up of a consistent core questionnaire with a flexible programme of rotating thematic / topic modules.
